Hope in North East Cheshire, an affiliation of 39 local churches, was planning an exhibition in Macclesfield Town Hall and to attract the public to the event decided to book the Lichfield Diocesan Mobile Belfry. Of course, they then needed some people to ring the bells. There are five churches with bells in the group and despite some initial confusion a nucleus of ringers was eventually assembled.
